It was funny, when I started taking her picture she was very focused on her customers, her look says otherwise to me. I also tried to do a little in photoshop (help). The first is without photoshop, the second with. Suggestions on where to go, what to read, how to learn it would be helpful.
The patch tool (the stamp) and then an overlay of the healing tool (the bandaid) works really well to remove people. There are also a lot of tutorials you can find online--I would try YouTube and search for how to remove objects with Photoshop.

I am interested to hear exactly what you did on this one. I think it should be pretty easy to do a seamless job.
